Admission Process
A student desiring admission to the Bachelor of Ministry and diploma of ministry program should make application at least one month before the beginning of the semester. WES academic year normally begins early in September. New students who are willing to join WES must collect an application early June. The application forms should be returned to the registrar’s office and should include the following:
- Completed application form
- Photocopy of official academic transcripts Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate Examination (ESLCE) with a minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for degree and GPA 1.8 for diploma with the English grade minimum C and above.
- Other helpful academic documents.
- Two 2/3 size photos
- Letter of reference from their respective local churches directly to the registrar office
- The nonrefundable application fee of 100 birr for both degree and diploma.
In addition to the academic qualifications, the applicants’ spiritual maturity will be assessed. Before the student is admitted to WES he/she must prove his/her eligibility in both written examination and spoken English (interview).
